How does Jo Tipton Realty Rent for Equity work?

Can I participate if my lease is not up? - Yes, You can register your lease at any time.  We can also show you how to have sellers pay your re-letting fee if you are eager to get into a new home!

What if I move to another community? - No, your EarnedEquity will never expire.

Any Hidden Costs to Participate - Jo Tipton Realty EarnedEquity is completely free. The builder or seller pays all commissions during the purchase transaction. Representation costs you nothing and does not affect the sales price.

No Expiration - With Jo Tipton Realty, your earned equity is not dependent upon your loyalty to any one property, chain or even the fact that you rent. Your Earned Equity is always available. Can only be used once per customer and transaction.

Are there any restrictions on where or what I can purchase? - You can choose any home new or existing. As long as is in the D/FW Metro area.

Does this mean my rent is higher to cover this program?  - No. This program does not affect your rental rates at all.

By agreeing to these Terms of Use, User acknowledges that they have read the JTRS Privacy Policy and agree with its terms. "You affirm the statements are true and agree to the Terms of Use Agreement," Clients agrees, as consideration for access to and use of the products and services available at the JTRS, to make the representations and warranties, and abide by the terms and conditions set forth in the following Terms of Use Agreement: All offer subject to conditions, limitations, exclusions, modifications, and/or discontinuation without notice. Jo Tipton Mortgage & Realty, Inc. ("Jo Tipton Mortgage & Realty") must act as Mortgage and Real Estate Broker in same sales transaction. EarnedEquity Rebate will be up to $1,500. When you buy through JTRS we will rebate up to $1,500 when JTRS receives minimum compensation of 3% of the contract sales price of the property from the listing broker. In the event JTRS receives less than 3%, the rebate amount will be decided by the JTRS Broker and communicated to the property buyer prior to the submission of an offer to purchase.  For properties with a final sales price of $100,000.00 or more, the Buyer's EarnedEquity Rebate actually received by JTRS at the close of escrow/settlement for representing the buyer, up to $1,500. For properties with a final sales price between $80,000.00 and $99,999.99, the Buyer's Rebate is $400.00. No rebate is offered for properties with a final sales price under $80,000.00. The amount of cooperating broker commission or fee received will vary on individual properties so the actual rebate may be less than $1,500. Actual rebate amount could be less than those listed above. EarnedEquity Rebate is available only to buyers who close escrow/proceed to final settlement with JTRS, Inc.
